Examples of Digipaks

Digipaks are unique ways of storing CD's. They often are soft material with a small piece of information held in a booklet on the inside cover. The idea of a digipak is to provide information to the user that is efficient and important in terms of the music and artist.

Example 1- Tired Pony
The CD that was released by the band Tired Pony, entitled- 'The place we ran from' is a good example of a digipak.
This is the front cover of the digipak and on the inside is a leaflet that contains the lyrics to every song on the album. This could prove useful to the user. The added booklet is important in terms of promoting the album seeing as it isn't such a well known band. The unique feel to the physicality of the album is important to say the lest in terms of how special the artist is.

Example 2-Oasis

This is similar to the tired pony album in terms of having additional usage apart from the CD itself. As you can see it expands out and would contain more information than the user can see on first glance. That's the ideal beauty of having a Digipak.
